Angelina County FWSD No. 1 has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by Angelina County FWSD No. 1 used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of May 3, 2025

Due to a water main break that resulted in low pressures in the water distribution system , the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required the Angelina County FWSD No. 1 public water system (PWS ID Number 0030102) to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption

The Board of Supervisors of the Angelina County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 will conduct a public hearing and public meeting at 5:30 P.M., Monday, September 23, 2024, at the offices of the Angelina & Neches River Authority located at 2901 N. John Redditt Dr., Lufkin, Texas, 75904.
